Kohler Co., the global premium brand in the design and manufacture of kitchen and bath products, announced that the 'Bold Journey' Design Event for the celebration of its 145th anniversary this year was successfully hosted.
The concept of this event, which was hosted privately in the Dress Garden located at Cheongdam-dong on August 1st, consisted of travelling through the 145 years of Kohler history, where the participants expressed fervent responses for the diverse programs including the exhibition of new products, design seminar and network party.
The design seminar preceded by the guest speakers that included architect, MIN, SUNG-JIN, industrial designer, LEE, SEOK-WOO and architect, YU, EE-HWA. Each of the speakers received enthusiastic responses during discussion on 'Where Does the Bold Design Come From?'.
Architect, MIN, SUNG-JIN designed the Hilton-Busan Ananticove, Hilton-Namhae Spa & Golf Resort, Art Gallery of Seongbuk-dong, industrial designer, LEE, SEOK-WOO who is famous for designing the medal for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games at Pyeongchang, is currently representative of SWNA. Architect, YU, EE-HWA, who designed diverse residential spaces such as Hotel Podo is the regional director of Itami Jun Architecture Institute and the currently represents of ITM YU, EE-HWA Architectural Firm.
In today's event, numerous new bath products also were exhibited that attracted the interests of the visitors. The products presented at the exhibition included: ▲Kohler Konnect ▲Mica lavatory ▲The Real Rain Shower ▲Sensis, intelligent toilet ▲The Dutchmaster floral collection.

Eir, an intelligent toilet that embodies sleek design and technology, comes with a built-in water filtration system that purifies the water passing through the nozzle, eliminating all the impurities, residual chlorine and heavy metals, and thus, providing a very healthy bidet experience.
