  • Size & Installation

Mirrored cabinets come in a variety of sizes to match the scale of your styling space and the bathroom overall. To ensure the proper fit for your mirrored cabinet or mirror, it’s important to measure the area accurately.

  • Size & Installation

    Measure Your Space

Begin by measuring the width of your vanity. Typically, your mirrored cabinet should be narrower or the same width as the vanity. To determine the height, measure the distance between your lights and faucet. Choose a size that provides clearance above the faucet and below the lights.

  • Installation Type

Before you choose the installation type for your mirrored cabinet, be sure you know what your space can accommodate. If cutting into the wall will be a problem for any reason, a recessed cabinet won’t be compatible. In general, your safest bet is to choose a dual-mount cabinet that can be recessed or surface-mounted if you encounter any issues.

    Surface-Mount

The cabinet or mirror mounts flush with your wall, no cutting required. Side kits are recommended for a polished look

    Recessed

The cabinet installs between the studs in your wall. You’ll need to cut into the wall to install and build the cabinet framework

  • Hinges

Most cabinets can be installed with the hinges on the left or the right, which will determine door swing orientation.

    Slow-Close Hinges
Ensure your cabinet door closes softly to protect the mirror and items within.

    107°-110° Swing
A standard mirrored cabinet swing, the door moves a little past where the door is perpendicular to the cabinet.

    170° Swing
Allows you to swing the cabinet door open almost all the way to the wall. A great feature if two people are getting ready together.
