Measuring
The most important step in installing a shower or bath/shower door is measuring. While these doors have a certain amount of flexibility for openings that aren’t quite square, it’s important to begin with the right measurements so you can select the correct door for your application.
Shower Doors
Measure top width ( A ) of shower opening, measure bottom width ( B ) and height ( C ).
Choose the largest measurement ( A ) or ( B ) and round up to the nearest fraction.
Bath/Shower Doors
Measure top width ( A ) of shower opening, measure bottom width ( B ) and height ( C ).
Choose the largest measurement ( A ) or ( B ) and round up to the nearest fraction.
NOTE: If you plan to include steam in your shower, the door will need to be a steam door-one that reaches to the top of the shower enclosure to keep the steam in.
