Bowl Shapes
Your toilet seat shape will need to match the shape of your toilet in order to create a snug and comfortable fit. To ensure you’re choosing the correct shape, measure the current seat from the hinge bolt to the front of the seat.
Elongated Toilet Seats
An elongated seat measures 18 5⁄8" or more and fits most residential toilets, which include elongated and compact elongated toilets.
Round-Front Toilet Seats
A round-front seat, designed to fit space-saving round-front toilets, measures 16 ¾” or less.
